Financial News
Delcam establishes new manufacturing services subsidiary
Delcam has converted its Professional Services Group into an independent subsidiary, Delcam Professional Services Ltd. (DPS), as the first stage in a significant expansion planned for its process development activities. The new subsidiary also includes the company’s former Tooling Services Division, which has been renamed as the Delcam Advanced Manufacturing Facility.

Delcam’s Martell in Prime Minister’s delegation to China
Clive Martell, Delcam’s Chief Executive, was chosen to be an industry delegate on the first official visit to China by UK Prime Minister David Cameron. The delegation comprised other senior UK Government representatives, including the Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, and the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, Vince Cable, plus industry delegates from leading UK manufacturing companies including Rolls Royce, GKN, Alstom Power and Doosan Power.

Delcam achieves record sales and increased profits
CADCAM developer Delcam is pleased to announce that the company achieved record six-month sales and increased profits during the first half of 2010. Sales increased by 12% over the same period of last year to £18.1 million, while pre-tax profits were substantially higher at £1.1 million, an improvement of approximately £790,000 on the first half of last year.

Delcam completes 10 years as world’s leading CAM specialist
Delcam is pleased to announce that the company has completed a decade as the world’s leading CAM specialist. The latest NC Software and Related Services Market report from leading analysts CIMdata shows that, in 2009, Delcam again had the highest vendor revenues of all the CAM-centric companies. The company first achieved its global leadership in 2000, when it overtook Japanese developer Hitachi Zosen, and has kept that position ever since.

Delcam wins Queen’s Award for dental CADCAM
Delcam has been presented with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category in recognition of the continuous development of its software for the design and manufacture of dental restorations. The Queen’s Awards are the UK’s most coveted commercial awards, with only a small percentage of those who enter each year measuring up to the demanding standards required to win an Award.

Delcam Chairman reports strong performance
Delcam Chairman Peter Miles reported today that the company had performed strongly in the face of challenging trading conditions during 2009. Sales at £31.8 million were slightly down year on year but still represented the second-best turnover in the company’s history and stood 7% higher than sales in 2007.
